Robert Pattinson, FKA Twigs Engaged: Couple To Wed In Autumn 2016; 'Twilight' Fans Want Kristen-Robert Reunion [Rumors]

Engaged couple Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs are plagued with controversies about the alleged delay of their wedding. The lovers are reportedly set to tie the knot over Christmas, but the "Twilight" star had a change of mind.

Parent Herald previously reported that the family of the "Remember Me" star is not sure with his fiancée. A source told Hollywood Life that his conservative family "planted a seed in his head, questioning whether Twigs is the right person he should be settling down with." As a result, the actor had second thoughts and his indecision over the situation caused delay to the wedding that was supposed to occur this year.

Although the wedding will be delayed, it doesn't really speak up about the quality of relationship Pattinson and Twigs share. The delay does not mean that the two are on the verge of breaking up. An insider told Focus Hollywood  that they are just okay.

The reports about the delay is not "a bad thing they just want to get it right because they only want to do it once." The same insider stressed that this arrangement is fine with the "Love & Distrust" star because he is sure that it will eventually happen and he is happy with his relationship with Twigs.

Speaking of the delay, a source close to the couple's circle told People that the wedding has been pushed back "until autumn at the earliest" because the bride-to-be "can't decide what [kind of] wedding she'd like to have."

"She talks about it keeping as real and low-key and then wants an elaborate glamorous Baroque affair," said the source. "She was even talking at one stage about having a masked ball."

The report suggested that, with more time, the couple has scrapped their initial plans for a pub wedding. They are now planning to have a larger celebration. But, how big? Nobody knows at the time.

While Pattinson and Twigs are heading for their forever, "Twilight" fans are still hoping for him and Kristen Stewart to get back together. MStarz reported that fans are pushing for the ex-sweetheart's reunion. "I wish #RobertPattinson and #KristenStewart would get back together forget that @FKAtwigs girl. She not even cute!" one user tweeted. "I don't like FKA Twigs (Robert Pattinson's new gf, he needs to get back together with Kristen Stewart)," another one wrote.

However, although Stewart is open to a reunion project with her ex-flame, it might not happen anytime soon. Hollywood Life reported that Twigs and Pattinson's families do not want it to push through.
