Top 10 YouTube Ads 2015: 'Clash of Clans' Trailer Tops The Chart

The year is about to end and YouTube is giving their audience a chance to look back at all the ads that entertained and distracted them in the last 12 months. YouTube has announced its Top Ads 2015 and you will find tons of cute and fun ads in their list.

According to Adweek, Supercell is the big winner because their "Clash of Clans" trailer tops the chart. This "Clash of Clans" ad starred Liam Neeson in a similar character he played in the popular action thriller film "Taken." The actor was in an over-the-top monologue about getting revenge after another "Clash of Clans" player attacked his base.

Gamerant has learned that the "Clash of Clans" ads, which ran in the Superbowl commercial, have a number of views that is over four times than the second video in the list. "Clash of Clans" is another entry into the polarizing catalogue of mobilizing gaming, a freemium strategy video game that is best known for its cartoon graphics and entertaining ads.

Aside from "Clash of Clans," Supercell's "Boom Beach" was among the top four most viewed ads of the year.

The rest of the ads extend emotional, uplifting and socially engaging messages. For instance, the top 10 ad of "Budweiser: Lost Dog" features the story of a puppy in a ranch that accidentally locked himself in a delivery truck. The little dog managed to get himself out of the truck but it had already traveled a long way and he has to find his way back.

The cute puppy ran and ran for miles and for days, until he finally arrived at the ranch. When he was only a few meters away, one of the horses saw the cute puppy. Then, there was a wolf about to attack him but the horses managed to rescue the puppy before the wolf could harm him.

The little puppy and his master reunite and he gave him a shower. The short ad was very touching and anybody who has a dog will be moved to tears.

Aside from this, the Ad Council's "Love Has No Labels" and the latest installment of the "Always #LikeAGirl" campaign make it to the top six. A fascinating social experiment about domestic violence made for an Italian website made it to the list, too.

The top 10 ads combined for 470 million views in 2015, compared to 425 million for last year's top 10. Nearly two-thirds of those 470 million views happened on mobile.
