'Super Smash Bros 4' Update: Nintendo 'Final Video Presentation' Coming -- What to Expect [Rumors]

This is it! The reveal that anticipating fans have been waiting for! Nintendo is all set to give its announcement regarding much-awaited details for “Super Smash Bros. 4!”

With the recent reveal talking about “Minecraft” coming to Wii U, “Super Smash Bros” fans are still waiting for the great reveal. Now it's indeed coming!

News outlet iDigital Times reported that Nintendo will air its “Final Video Presentation” (FVP) Tuesday, December 15 at 2 p.m. PT. With this big game announcement, fans can expect a lot of surprises that will either let them shout hoorahs or boos.

The “FVP” announcement itself was announced by both Nintendo of America and Europe.

This dedicated Nintendo Direct, according to Design & Trend, will be apparently the last one before the DLC arrives. It will massively feature the only confirmed and released detail so far: the coming of beloved “Final Fantasy VII” spiky-haired hero Cloud Strife.

D&T reported that, in a Famitsu interview (translated via Source Gaming), “Super Smash Bros” franchise creator Masahiro Sakurai said he will be explaining more about Cloud's entry into the infamous Nintendo brawler, complete with his looks, skills, summons and the “Midgar” stage, as well as his difference from other game characters such as sword-wielder Roy. This, “Final Fantasy” and “Super Smash Bros” fans will really like.

Additionally, some other information might be revealed such as new characters and stages. Earlier, it was reported that the some data miners have discovered that the upcoming patch will bring new characters aside from Cloud and new stages too.

This means that new -- yet unconfirmed -- characters are on the way. However, with Nintendo surprising all fans with an unexpected entry from a character who wasn't reported to top the ballots, fans can expect even more surprises -- just like this fake (or is it?) entry from “Metal Gear Solid” maker Hideo Kojima (if it is indeed him).

With that guy coming, more fans will be shouting harder – or probably keep it stealthy.

Aside from these details, most likely a release date and price might be revealed too. D&T added that, if what happened to Roy and Ryu during E3 is any indication, it could be possible that the DLC will be available right after the “FVP” itself.

With the beloved “Project M” mod reportedly stopped just recently, expect a lot of good things from Nintendo.
