‘Scandal’ising! Kerry Washington Secretly Married to Nnamdi Asomugha?

Kerry Washington, the "Scandal" actress is married. It seems she got married to Nnamdi Asomugha, the San Francisco 49'ers cornerback, in a hush-hush ceremony.

The couple got married on June 24 in Blaine County, Idaho, and the gossip website TerezOwens was the first to break the news.

"It has been recorded in the Blaine County clerk's office that Nnamdi Asomugha and Kerry Washington have been married on the 24th of June in the town of Hailey, Idaho," a representative for the clerk's office told Us Weekly.

It seems Washington's parents attended the wedding and served as witnesses.

The 36-year old actress is known to be private about her personal life. Kerry and Asomugha, 31, were reportedly dating for over a year. Washington was previously engaged to David Moscow in 2007.

Washington has got very positive reviews for her role in ABC's "Scandal." Asomugha, is a Berkeley graduate and runs a charity in Nigeria.

For her role as Olivia Pope in  'Scandal,' Washington has received positive reviews from film critics. "Her casting has prompted discussion among academics and fans of the show about whether Scandal represents a new era of post-racial television, in which cast members are ethnically diverse but are not defined by their race or ethnicity," The New York Times wrote.
