Trying To Conceive? Here Are Effective Ways On How To Get Pregnant Fast

There are couples who are ready to have a baby yet have a hard time conceiving. Unbeknownst to many, there are actually solutions to this problem, says Dr. Peyman Banooni, from Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA.

Parenting has outlined some of the most effective ways on how to get pregnant fast, one of which is to consult with a healthcare provider. By checking with one, couples are properly guided on the factors which could have contributed to the delay in conceiving, and at the same time, find out how to properly address them.

Another way is to stop using birth control ahead of the planned pregnancy. This will help improve fertility and increase the chance of getting pregnant. Couple this with constant monitoring of the woman's ovulation period by using an ovulation predictor kit.

Both partners must also quit smoking as it has been shown to cause adverse effects on one's ability to conceive. Eating healthy foods and ensuring a fit body can also help in ensuring a higher chance of having a baby.

For women, charting their basal body temperature on a daily basis can determine whether they are ovulating or not. A basal thermometer will be needed, and taking one's temperature must be done before getting out of bed to have more accurate results.

It will also do both partners a lot of good if they will have sex prior to ovulation. According to the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, having sex constantly will not decrease male fertility. In fact, it is prolonged abstinence that can lower the quality of the sperm.

Lastly, when trying to conceive, better skip on the use of lubricants as these substances are known to be toxic to the sperm and can reduce the chances of fertilization. What matters is that a healthy sperm unites with the egg cell. That way, getting pregnant will just be around the corner.
