'Mass Effect 4: Andromeda' Release Date And Update: Gameplay Similar to 'Mass Effect 3'; No Old Characters On New 'Mass Effect'

The critically-acclaimed video game "Mass Effect" has been acknowledged by many fans and gamers alike as one of the best video games to ever come out. "Mass Effect" already has numerous installments, up until now; the super successful video game has had three installments.

However, recently, game developers of "Mass Effect" announced that there will be a fourth installment, the "Mass Effect: Andromeda" and what is more exciting about this new installment is that it will all happen in a different universe.

Fans have long thought that "Mass Effect" would have ended their gameplay story on the third installment so it came as a shock when Bioware revealed that a fourth "Mass Effect" was coming. Chris Wynn, senior developer of Bioware revealed that the combat style of "Mass Effect 4: Andromeda" will be similar to that of "Mass Effect 3" but with enhancements.

However, Wynn assured fans that the feel of "Mass Effect 4: Andromeda" will be the same as the other three "Mass Effect" video games. Wynn also answered one important question on whether the characters from the past "Mass Effect" video games will make appearances, and according to him, there will be no old characters in "Mass Effect 4: Andromeda".

"'Mass Effect 4" won't have any old characters. Story wise, it wouldn't make much sense." Wynn had revealed in a tweet. Despite the huge changes on "Mass Effect", with it being in a new universe and having entirely new characters, the game developers are sure that the avid players of "Mass Effect" will still feel right at home with "Mass Effect 4: Andromeda".

"Mass Effect 4: Andromeda" is sure to be something, with over 200 game developers working on it, it couldn't be a disappointment. "Mass Effect 4: Andromeda" is scheduled to be released on the 4th quarter of 2016 and will be carried by Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC.
