Pregnant Halle Berry’s Growing Baby Bump Was ‘Constant Challenge’ During X-Men Shoot

Pregnant Halle Berry revealed that her growing baby bump was a "constant challenge" while shooting for her upcoming movie "X-Men: Days of Future."

Berry, who is due this month, said that the filmmakers tried their best to conceal her fast growing baby bump. "That kind of coloured what my involvement could be, which was why I was one of the first ones in and the first ones out. My ever-growing belly was posing a constant challenge! What I could do was getting more limited so the role that I play is so different from what it could have been, due to my surprise pregnancy."

However, the 46-year-old actress managed to complete the entire movie. She was asked about her secret for healthy living during pregnancy. "There's no secret, I've just lived a healthy lifestyle," she told Total Film. "I only work out like three times a week, 30 minutes a pop. That and good clean living. As I'm getting older it's just paying off."

After her topless scene in the 2001 movie "Swordfish", Halle said that she doesn't shy away from her body size. "Although it was very gratuitous I had to do it to get over my fear of exposing myself. Had I not done Swordfish I never would have been able to tackle Monster's Ball. I'd have been too scared of the nudity... scared of what people might say... scared of the backlash."

Berry recently married French actor Olivier Martinez in a private ceremony. The X-Men star was previously married to David Justice in 1993 and singer Eric Benet in 2001. She briefly dated Gabriel Aubry with whom she has 5-year-old daughter Nahla. Her third husband is known to have dated a number of models and actresses and earned a reputation as a womanizer in his younger days. His dating list includes actress Mira Sorvino, singer Kylie Minogue and English actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
