Singer Usher's fiver-year-old son was admitted to a hospital after a pool accident at their Atlanta house.

TMZ reported that Usher Raymond V dove down to get a toy out of the drain of the pool and his arm got stuck in the drain. His aunt Rena Oden along with a maid tried to get his hand out but failed. Two workers at the singer's house immediately dove into the pool and freed the boy and he was rushed to hospital immediately after initial first aid..

Father Usher and mother Tameka rushed to the hospital upon receiving the news. Doctors said that his condition was "okay" and they were conducting tests on him.

The accident prompted Usher's ex-wife Tameka to seek custody of their two children. "Tameka got a call from one of Usher's staff members and rushed to the hospital," a source toldCelebrityBabyScoop. "She almost collapsed when she heard the news."

According to TMZ, Tameka filed documents for the children's custody in Fulton County, Georgia and requested for a hearing later this week. Last year July, Usher's 11-year-old stepson Kile Glover died after being struck by a jet ski. During the treatment doctors said that his chances of survival were bleak and he would not recover from his injuries. They took Kile off life support on July 21.

"She's still not over Kile, and now this happens," a source said. "She is not going to leave his side now. ... We're all lifting him up in prayer."

Usher and Tameka also have another four-year-old son, Naviyd Ely.
