'WWE 2k16' News & Update: New Downloadable Content Breaks Main Game For Xbox One, PS4

Nothing is more exciting than being able to play ones favorite wrestler in a video game and that's what "WWE 2k16" is bringing to their fans. Not only do fans love wrestlers in real life, being able to be them in video games surely is better. However, there is some problem gamers are encountering with the new "WWE 2k16" downloadable content (DLC).

According to a report by publisher 2K, the new DLC of "WWE 2k16" is corrupting the files and saved games in Xbox One and PS4. "We're aware of an issue some users are experiencing with Universe Mode save data connected to the Future Stars Pack DLC," Bryan Vore wrote on the 2K forums.

As of now, they have warned the players of the bug and the game developers are trying to fix it. "If you are an active Universe Mode player on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, we recommend waiting to download the Future Stars Pack until we fully investigate and resolve the issue. Thank you for your patience," Vore added.

The new DLC of "WWE 2k16" enables gamers to download a whole new pack of wrestlers including Samoa Joe, Los Matadores and Blake & Murphy. The bug in "WWE 2k16" is only affecting those who have Xbox One and PS4, while Xbox 360 and PS3 players are not affected.

This is not the first time that fans have complained about the "WWE" game, the last game had also some issues with their software. However, game developers were fast in fixing it. The bug in "WWE 2k16" is the second time that there has been a major mishap, especially with files and saved games being corrupted.

Fans are patiently waiting for the DLC of "WWE 2k16" to be fixed and that hopefully there will be no more bugs in the coming updates. For now, there is no update on how the game developers are fixing the bug.

Stay tuned for "WWE 2K16" updates!
