Kate Hudson Shares Love and Relationship Tips She Got From Her Mom

Hollywood actress Kate Hudson has some tips shared on Feb. 18 when it comes to dealing with love and relationship. All of these great ideas to make smart choices and witty decisions she learned from her mom who is also a famous actress, Goldie Hawn.

In an interview Hudson had with Entertainment Tonight, she shared how much she admires her mom's relationship with Kurt Russell that the two have managed to stay together for 33 years now.

"I think what they have, in terms of connection, is really rare and beautiful and something to strive for," the actress started opening up. "But it doesn't come without its stuff, [as do] all relationships."

According to the Huffington Post, Hawn and Russell didn't get legally married, but their 33 years of being together can give Hollywood and the whole world hope that relationships could last that long. One of Hawn's secrets in her successful romantic relationship with Russell is that she is always true to herself. This is something that Hudson is applying in her love life and she wants to share the same advice to her fans as her mom selflessly gave her.

"Be true to yourself," Hudson recalled her mom telling her. "When you're connected intimately [with someone], it's a huge time of growth."

Another tip that Hudson learned from her mom is the fact that no matter how close you are to your partner, it is important to still give each other some space, as it is needed.

In fact, Hawn also shared this in an interview she had -- saying, "It's also about not losing yourself in each other. Being together, two pillars holding up the house and the roof, and being different, not having to agree on everything."

Hawn and Russell are not the only couple in Hollywood who shares this principle, as actress Helen Mirren and her husband Taylor Hackford believes in the same philosophy. This just proves that love is still real and there is no reason to be hopeless and cynic.
