AJ Buckley and Fiancée Abigail Ochse Expecting First Child Together

A J Buckley of 'CSI: NY' fame and fiancée Abigail Ochse will soon become parents of a baby girl.

"I'm having a baby girl!!! Happiest day of my life," the 35-year-old tweeted. He also attached a sonogram photo of the unborn baby. "Thank you for all the kind wishes! So excited to be a dad," he wrote.

Abigail is an oncology nurse and is five-months pregnant. The baby is expected to arrive early 2014, AJ's rep confirmed the news to People magazine.

The couple got engaged last December after dating for nearly two years. The actor asked Abigail to marry him in front of his mother Patricia Buckley, Abigail's sister, Alyshia and a few close friends during a vacation in Hawaii. AceShowBiz reported that he proposed to Abigail under a special tree where they had earlier scattered some ashes of his late father.

AJ will be seen in the film 'North Hell' alongside Katherine Heigl and Patrick Wilson. He has also produced the movie.

AJ, who dons the role of Adam Ross, a lab technician in CSI, said in an interview with Big Issue that real life forensic pathologists are "sexy.""They're much better looking than us. Forensic pathologists in the real world are very sexy people," he said.

Prior to Abigail the 'Disturbing Behavior' star dated actress Sharni Vinson between 2007 and 2008.

 AJ began his acting career in his teens. He first appeared in the television series 'The Odyssey' followed by guest starring roles in 'The X-Files' and 'Millennium.'
