Joey Feek's 2-Year-Old Daughter Utters Her First Words And It Is Making Everyone Cry

Country singer Joey Feek's daughter has finally said her first word on Feb. 22 and it is making a lot of people cry. Feek's husband, Rory uploaded a video of their 2-year-old daughter saying the word "Mama" for the very first time.

Joey Feek has melted the hearts of many after the news about her being terminally ill started circulating online. Now, her daughter, Indiana, making progress is once again pinching people's hearts because they couldn't help but be happy about this milestone that Feek's daughter has achieved.

For those who don't know, Indiana is a child with Down syndrome and according to an article published by SheKnows.com, it is very common that kids with this case are able to utter their first words later than other children. It is expected that children with Down syndrome start speaking between the ages of two and three.

Indiana just recently celebrated her 2nd birthday on Feb. 15 and reports claimed that Joey has been trying his best to fight for her life, so she could live longer to at least see her child turn two -- hearing her first word. This is such a heartbreaking moment for those who have been following Feek's story.

Joey is known for being one half of the country duo Joey + Rory. She started her cancer treatment on November 2015 and unfortunately, the doctors found no success and progress on her treatment. The couple is so far keeping it together despite this struggle that they are facing. The two are still able to manage parenting their child with Down syndrome and everyone knows how hard it is for her to imagine Indiana growing up without her in the picture.

Hollywood Life also captured the story of this couple and the milestone that their daughter has on uttering her first word. And based on their feature, many are happy about Indiana's progress and they wish the couple all the best.
