Pregnancy Confidential: 32-Episode Podcast Launched to Help Expectant Mommies Deal With Loneliness During Pregnancy

For most people, pregnancy is usually the time they consider to be the happiest. For others however, this time can also be the loneliest. According to statistics, every year there are approximately 4 million women who give birth in the United States. But that doesn't always mean that you will have someone to share this moment with.

The mom's at Parents magazine has recently launched their podcast to help pregnant women deal with their surging hormones. They explained that although you have a lot of friends online and in real life, there will only be a handful of people who will be ready to listen and relate to your rants about your pregnancy symptoms. If you are pregnant for the first time, there may even be times when you think nobody else understands you.

Pregnancy Confidential is 32 episodes of week-by-week podcast that is aimed at helping new parents and expectant millennial women. Each episode will be hosted by the magazine's editor in chief Dana Points and features editors from magazines like Fit Pregnancy and Baby, cision.com reported.

Its goal is to make sure mommies-to-be know what to expect from their journey. So example, if you are on your 16th week of pregnancy, you can start listening to episode 16 and learn about what to expect during the time of your pregnancy. You can also try listening to future episodes just so you can have a brief idea of what it's like to be in that stage of your pregnancy journey.

According to parents.com, these editors have gone through different experiences during their own pregnancy so everything that they share is based on their personal journey. They also try to think about the most common worries that can possibly happen during the course of your pregnancy.

The podcast also discusses normal pregnancy stuff life swollen ankles, financial fears, challenges in the relationship, and many more. "When you download this, it's like having someone next to you all the time that you know will hold your hand all throughout your journey to motherhood," Points said.
