New Study Says People Talk More To Their Pets Than To Their Partners!

A new study claims that people are having more conversation with their pets than they have with human beings. About 41% of dog owners would rather share stuff with their dogs and 40% of them even share their darkest secrets with their pet animals than with an actual person.

In an article published by Telegraph, they cited a research released by tails.com saying that dog owners use about 47 minutes of their time each day just to talk to their dogs. There is a rational explanation for this and not because those people have gone insane knowing that their animals can't talk back.

The answer to that is because humans find it more comforting to talk to their pets than to some people. In fact, 81% of humans feel happiness after a little chitchat with their pets. 65% of them would even go beyond and call their furry little friend not just a pet, but their best friend in the whole world.

There is no doubt that pets have that great effect on humans. They are good when you're dealing with stress, as they help to relieve your mind and body from having a bad day. It is amazing how they do that and even more awesome when then tend to make their owners feel like they are always there for them. 86% of pet owners agree with that statement and 94% of them could testify that their pets could always make them happy when they are sad.

Lots of pet owners on Quora have confirmed that this study is factual when it comes to their experience with their pets. Most if not all of them actually treat their pets as family. They serve not just as guards or toys, but they even work as therapists because they certainly help their owners get through with whatever it is that they want to voice out.
