Report: Orlando Bloom’s Mom Meets Katy Perry For The First Time

English actor Orlando Bloom has reportedly introduced girlfriend Katy Perry to his mother Sonia Constance Josephine last week. The introduction took place over a hearty meal in a traditional English county pub.

The Daily Mirror reported that Bloom took Perry to the United Kingdom to meet his mother for the first time. The three enjoyed a family meal at the Stag and Huntsman, a traditional English pub located in a village near Bloom's Buckinghamshire home. It is believed that the pop superstar has flown in from the US just for the special gathering.

The report said that the 39-year-old Lord of the Rings actor and 31-year-old California Girls hitmaker dressed down to get rid of unwanted attention. Some customers of the pub claimed that Perry had a good time with Sonia, sharing laughter and jokes.

Although there was no official confirmation about the real status of their relationship, Bloom and Perry have been frequently seen together lately. Rumors about their romance sparked when the two were seen cozying up to each other at several Golden Globes after-parties. They also spent a vacation in Hawaii, and spent more time together in New York City a week later, fueling rumors that they are already a couple.

There were also reports claiming that Bloom and Perry are taking their relationship to the next level. Inquisitr reported that a source has told OK! Magazine that the Fireworks singer is already considering of tying the knot with the Hollywood actor.

"It's still early, but the connection they share is undeniable. It's been a long time since either of them has felt this strongly about someone else. Orlando is the first man Katy has considered marrying since her divorce [to Russell Brand]... She's starting to think Orlando may be the one," a source claimed.

Bloom was previously married to Australian supermodel Miranda Kerr. The divorced couple has a five-year-old son named Flynn Christopher. On the other hand, Perry had a brief marriage with English comedian Russel Brand which ended in 2010. Prior to Bloom, she was in a relationship with American singer John Mayer.
