Zac Hanson Becomes Father for the Third Time

Zac Hanson welcomed the latest addition to his family, his third child, a boy.

Wife Kate Hanson delivered the baby, Thursday. The couple named their newborn George Abraham Walker Hanson. He weighed 8 pounds, 7 ounces at the time of his birth.

Baby George will join his elder siblings, five-year-old John Ira Shepherd and two-year-old Julia Rosa Ruth.

Zac proudly shared the happy news. "We are very excited to share the addition of George Abraham Walker Hanson to our growing family," he told People magazine. "Abraham is healthy and we are happily sharing a little down time together as a family."

The couple got married on June 3, 2006 after dating for five years. Their wedding was a private affair held at Atlanta, Georgia.

The 28-year-old 'Hanson' band drummer told the entertainment magazine in May that is was fun to see his children eagerly waiting for their little sibling to arrive."It's fun this time to watch the little ones so excitedly anticipating their new sibling," he said. "We are so happy and thankful to add more life and love to our family!" he added.

At the age  11, Zac was nominated for a Grammy award making him the second youngest songwriter to be nominated for the prestigious award next to King of Pop Michael Jackson. He, along with his elder brothers, formed a band in 1992. Despite his young age, he was a pro at playing the drums, percussion, piano, and guitar, as well as vocals, according to Celebrity Networth. This young musician makes a total of $20 million annually.
