Strangers Brought Gifts for Couple Who Accidentally Sent Text Message Announcing Baby's Birth

In their excitement over their baby's birth, a Florida couple accidentally sent a text message, announcing their baby's birth, to a complete stranger's phone number. Bewildered as he was, the stranger went to the hospital where the couple was and brought them gifts.

Lindsey and Mark Knox couldn't contain themselves when Lindsey was already dilating at five to six centimeters. They were just very happy that when they sent out the announcement, a phone number of a stranger was included in the recipients, as per Yahoo report.

Dennis Williams received the text which was worded as, "We are at the hospital. Having a baby today!" It was then followed by, "She has dilated to between 5-6."

Williams, together with his brother Deorick, politely and joyfully replied, "Congrats lol but I think someone got the wrong number." They were perhaps kind of hoping that their reply will straighten things out, but a subsequent text message with the newborn baby's picture came through.

Since it was a significant time of rejoicing, the brothers decided to be part of the celebration. They responded to the picture with a message saying, "Well I don't know y'all but me and the boys will be thru to take picture with the baby."

It was only upon receiving the last text message of the Williams brothers that Lindsey and Mark realized their mistake. Feeling somehow embarrassed, the couple apologized but the brothers insisted that they visit them at the hospital. And they didn't just visit, they brought the couple gifts!

According to Hello Beautiful, the Williams asked the couple for the room number, which the latter readily gave. The Williams even took a picture with the elated couple.

Lindsey and Mark took to Facebook and posted the nice picture they had with the Williams. They captioned it with, "What a blessing these two guys were to our family. They were so sweet and kind to do this! You 2 are great guys and thank you for giving to someone you didn't know!  If we all only had this kind of a heart."

What started as an awkward moment between strangers became a heartwarming experience that both the Knox couple and the Williams brothers will remember. This just shows that being a stranger is not a hindrance to an act of kindness. How about you? Have you been kind to a stranger? Share your thoughts below.
