Cosmetic Surgery Addiction: British Mother Spends £58K To Look Exactly Like Her Daughter

Cosmetic surgery addict Janet Horrocks, a 57-year-old mother from Burnley, Lancashire, has spent almost £58,000 to look exactly like her 35-year-old daughter, Jane Cunliffe. The British mother shared that they are often get mistaken as sisters.

According to the Daily Mail, Horrocks has endured extensive cosmetic surgery since 2001 to copy her daughter's stunning youthful looks. She has splashed out almost £58,000 on beauty treatments and procedures including two breast enhancements, an eye-lift, a nose job, veneers, hair extensions, laser resurfacing and eyebrow tattooing. She also gets regular Botox and fillers to maintain her look and keep up with Cunliffe.

"My goal was to look like Jane because I created her, so really she had a similar look to me and I didn't have a long way to go," Horrocks shared. "I just had to do a bit of playing about with my body and face to look younger."

Horrocks, an accountant, disclosed that her fascination for plastic surgery started after she ended up her relationship with Cunliffe's dad 15 years ago. She said that she felt dowdy and unattractive, and since then, she had decided to gain back her glamorous look.

"I remember looking at Jane and thinking 'I used to have a figure like yours,'" the British mother revealed. "Time had taken its toll on my breasts and I felt like I needed some help to reverse the effects of time."

Horrocks said that she initially kept her intentions of copying her daughter's look a secret. On the other hand, Cunliffe disclosed that she was not impressed when she found out about her mother's cosmetic surgery addiction to copy her look.

"I worried that eventually she'd look younger than me and it was upsetting because a daughter shouldn't look older than her mother," Cunliffe, a full-time mom, told the Daily Mirror. "I felt like my youth had been taken away and it didn't feel fair."

Cunliffe, however, clarified that she has already accepted her mother's cosmetic surgery addiction and they have a good relationship now. Moreover, Horrocks said that she is not slowing down as she is willing to undergo more cosmetic procedures to maintain her youthful looks.
