Kelly Rowland Turns to Her Destiny’s Child Sisters and More For Mom Advice

We wish we can have it as easy as Kelly Rowland when it comes to advice on being a mom. The former Destiny's Child member is happy she can still lean on none other than her former girl group buddies Beyonce and Michelle when she needs them.

Rowland told US Weekly that it doesn't matter which mother she runs to. She can always count on their support. When she needs advice on faith, she calls Michelle. When it comes to motherly advice, she calls Beyonce. For school advice, she calls Beyonce's sister Solange. Even Beyonce's Dreamgirls co-star Jennifer Hudson is on the list!

But it's not like she constantly needs advice when it comes to her son, Titan. In a previous interview with People Magazine, Rowland shared that she can be firm with her son while encouraging him to be independent at the same time. And she certainly believes he's smart!

Her first year of motherhood wasn't too shabby either. She embraced chores such as doing her son's laundry and cooking for him, all with joy and wonder.

Still, she feels blessed that she has a number of women she can turn to at any time should the situation call for it. All their different experiences don't hinder them from being of help, but in fact allows them to empathize with each other which is a crucial step in asking for and giving advice.

"It's so awesome to have women in the industry who are so beautiful and hard-working and secure," Rowland says. "I'm just grateful to have that circle of women around me."
