Lemonade Company Own By An 11-Year-Old Girl Wins $11 Million Dollar Deal With Whole Foods

Lemonade company, BeeSweet Lemonade, owned by an 11-year-old girl just landed an $11 million contract with Whole Foods. The lemonade is expected to hit the shelves of 55 stores in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Arkansas.

Mikaila Ulmer, who already received worth a $60,000 investment from the ABC show "Shark Tank," has signed a multi-million dollar deal with Whole Foods. Her lemonade, which is made with flaxseed and sweetened with honey from local bees will be available in the Whole Foods' stores, according to Today.

Writing on Mikaila's website, the young entrepreneur revealed BeeSweet Lemonade was launched after she was stung by a bee. She said she was four years old at that time and was not fascinated with bee stings at all.

However, something strange happened. "I became fascinated with bees. I learned all about what they do for me and our ecosystem," she wrote. Then, a great idea came: she started using honeybees, which she incorporated her Great Granny Helen's recipe.

"That's how BeeSweet Lemonade was born," she said. "It comes from my Great Granny Helen's flaxseed recipe and my new love for bees."

What's great about this young entrepreneur is that she's a kind-hearted person. She always donates a portion of her profit to the organizations that protect honeybee populations. Aside from selling her lemonade, Mikaila is also busy leading workshops on how to save the honeybees. She is also helping other kids, who are interested in becoming an entrepreneur.

Just recently, Mikaila launched her own Facebook page, where people can read some interesting facts about bees and honey. Likewise, visitors can see to her page all of her achievements and fun moments.

Mikaila is definitely not an ordinary girl. Not all kids at her age can turn simple ideas into a million-dollar business. For more inspiring stories, follow us on Twitter and like us on Facebook.
