'The Bachelor' Couple Ben Higgins & Lauren Bushnell Split; Lauren Insecure With Relationship, Jealous of Jojo and Ben's Ex?

The last season of "The Bachelor" paved the way for Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell's romance. Their love story is not as simple as what one reads in fairy tale books because prior to Lauren, Ben told another woman, JoJo Fletcher, that he loved her too.

According to new reports, Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell's engagement is on the rocks because the pair has been experiencing "extreme tension" since "The Bachelor" finale. Hollywood Life reported that Lauren is insecure with her relationship with Ben.

She visited Ben Higgins' hometown in Colorado earlier this week. However, she won't be staying there for good. She has no plans of moving in there permanently until next month. But will she continue her plans if she's not sure where her relationship with Ben is heading?

"Lauren tries not to think about it," one source told Life & Style. "But she's traumatized that Ben told another girl he loved her. Everyone around them can feel the awkwardness. It's unclear if they will last. Things between them are getting worse."

Many were shocked that Ben Higgins confessed love to two girls in the last season of "The Bachelor." In fact, as Celebrity Dirty Laundy puts it, his engagement to Lauren was doomed.

The "Bachelor" winner tries to play it cool as if Ben didn't fall for another woman during the reality show. Unfortunately, it seems that Lauren is still disturbed and this is now taking a toll on their relationship.

Lauren can't get rid of the idea that his fiancé once professed love to Jojo. To make matters worse, Ben is still contacting his college sweetheart. Reports claim that he values her opinion and that the exes remain in contact even after his engagement to Lauren.

"After breaking up, they would catch up here and there, but they got closer in the past year. Even when Ben got engaged to Lauren, that didn't stop them from talking," the source said about Ben and his ex.
