PS4 Update: April Free Games for PlayStation Plus

Fans are getting extremely excited by the moment for the Free PS4 games coming out next week.

The PlayStation Plus list, including the free games for PS, PS3 and PS is scheduled to be released this 5th of April according to a news report on PlayStation Lifestyle.

As cited in an article on Express, subscribers of the PS Plus will soon see the arrival of April's downloadable titles, which has consequently made fans to grab in a matter of hours those free games from March. The lineup of March's PlayStation Plus includes on Super Stardust HD and The Last Guy on PS3, Galak-Z and Broforce on PS4, and Reality Fighters and Flame Over on PS Vita. At some point, Flame Over was also made available on PS4; nevertheless these free games will be replaced by the April lineup.

Here are April's PlayStation Plus selection:

  • A Virus Named Tom, PS Vita
  • Shutshimi, PS Vita
  • Savage Moon, PS3
  • I Am Alive, PS3
  • Zombi, PS4
  • Dead Star, PS4

Fans can actually grab the aforementioned six games across all platforms, which include PS Vita, PS3 and PS4. This only follows the confirmation of Sony that the next game to debut on the next-gen console as a free game would be Dead Star, which of course follows Rocket League's footsteps.

As cited on Express, Dead Star: "A team-based shooter with RPG influence that we are excited to have launch as a Plus game.

"Dreamed up by the folks at Armature Studio (Founded by key members of the Metroid Prime team), Dead Star is the result of a "Wouldn't it be cool if..." process that started with a space shooter foundation and includes elements of strategy and MOBA-like titles."

As cited on Express, Zombi: "A first-person survival-horror experience, Zombi really was at the forefront of the resurgence we've seen in recent years of genuine survival-horror games.

"The London setting combined with well-paced gameplay sets Zombi apart from more action-oriented titles."
