"Longmire" Season 5 is rumored to be the show's last on Netflix. In one of the show's posts on their official Facebook page, fans were debating on the possibility that its upcoming season will serve as its series finale.

"I hate to break it to you but Netflix is dropping it too. This will be the last season," wrote a user named Kathy Palmiter on the said post.

Several fans, however, refused to believe on the statement, as Netflix has not yet announced any news about "Longmire" Season 5 renewal or cancellation. Many fans have been worried about the show's future on TV since it first got cancelled on A&E.

Luckily, Netflix picked up "Longmire" after it was cancelled on A&E in Season 3. The online streaming giant decided to pick up the series to attract its more mature audience. If Netflix decides to cancel the series after Season 5, many fans are already stating that they will also cancel their subscription from the streaming service.

While the future of "Longmire" Season 5 is yet to be determined, spoilers are hinting on Walt and Vic's romance happening in the upcoming season. Ecumenical News reports on their romance taking place in Craig Johnson's books, which only makes sense to see this in the TV series.

However, many fans were against Vic and Walt's pairing on "Longmire" Season 5 because of their age difference and lack of chemistry. The publication notes that many fans found that Vic was too young and immature for Walt while others felt that these two have not yet been given the chance to explore the dynamics of their relationship any further.
