PlayStation VR Release Date, News & Update: HTC Vive Reveal The First Look Of PS VR; Plus PS4 Games For PS VR

PlayStation VR is about to hit the market and promises to include its existing PlayStation titles later this year. However, HTC Vive gave a glimpse of the possible look of PlayStation VR with the use PS4 Remote Play feature for MAC and PC.

According to Popular Science, PlayStation VR has a cinematic mode that will give its user a plain black space to watch or play any PlayStation 4 content. A YouTube user, named shadshack, tried the said hack by using HTC Vive and gave an earlier look of the upcoming PlayStation VR.

"I figured I'd try combining the two and get a glimpse of PS4 on the virtual big screen without having to wait for PSVR this fall," the game enthusiast said on his YouTube channel. He tried his PS4 in HTC Vice desktop viewing mode and played Rocket League in VR space.

With the use of PlayStation VR, users won't get the chance to play games in virtual reality but, to watch videos, too. Meanwhile, as PlayStation VR is about to be unveiled, here are some of the game titles playable with PS VR, PCMag reported.

'Rez Infinite'

From the classic PlayStation 2 title, "Rez Infinite" is loved by the PlayStation game enthusiasts for its weird graphics and mesmerizing music. "Rez Infinite" is a rail shooter video game that has been remade to be that applicable to PlayStation VR.

'Driveclub'

"Driveclub" is a 2014 video game for PlayStation 4 and Sony's take on the racing simulator genre. Driveclub also had its remake for PlayStation VR and can be used with racing wheel and pedals.

'Battlezone'

"Battlezone" is the oldest among the three titles, released in 1998; it has the most striking vector graphics at that time. "Battlezone" for PlayStation 4 went to an updated remake to be the most innovative sci-fi tank combat game for PlayStation VR.

PlayStation 4 is set to be released in October with a retail price of $399.99. The PlayStation VR bundle with PlayStation Camera and two PlayStation Move controllers is set for $499.99.
