'Call of Duty: Black Ops 3' Eclipse DLC Trailer Shows Multiplayer Maps

A new trailer for "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" has recently been released by Activision. The video showcases the available multiplayer maps for the Eclipse DLC.

N3rdabl3 said the official trailer released Monday revealed four new multiplayer maps which include a "reimagined classic." These maps were part of the Eclipse update that arrived Tuesday exclusive on the PS4. It is expected to be released on the Xbox One and PC in a month.

It was added in the same report that some of the maps include a military rail system above an active volcano, a martial arts tournament area and a sub-orbital airport. The reimagined map, on the other hand, is a new version of the "Call of Duty: World at War" map.

According to Express, players can also look forward to a Zombies chapter in the game. "We know that fans are playing the hell out of our current selection of multiplayer and Zombies maps, which is why we have been working so hard to deliver an epic new DLC offering with Eclipse," Treyarch studio head Mark Lamia.

The four multiplayer maps are called Knockout, Spire, Rift and the classic Verge. Express explained that Knockout is inside a Shaolin Temple with a retro design while Spire happens in an airport terminal above the clouds.

On the other hand, Rift is the military setting where players will be challenged to move past enemies in a suspended rail system. Meanwhile, the reimagined map puts two warring groups in an extreme battle.

Express also noted that the changes and introductions in the new trailer could likely be the same things that Xbox One and PC users can expect. It said that aside from the maps, fixes in the game like getting awards and calling cards were also made.

The Eclipse DlC can be purchased for $15. However, it can be acquired for free by those who have season passes.
