Michael Schumacher News & Update: No Hope For Former F1 Superstar’s Recovery? Unnamed Neurosurgeon Claims Schumacher Needs Miracle To Survive

More than two years after Michael Schumacher's tragic skiing accident at the French Alpine resort of Meribel in December 2013, news and updates regarding his health condition and recovery remain elusive. With the continuous media blackout still in effect, any report about Schumacher is deemed fictitious.

Who Is The Most Reliable Source To Give Any Michael Schumacher Update?

Following the highly criticized April Fool's Day hoax about Michael Schumacher's health condition and recovery, media publication Sportsrageous earned the ire of many Schumacher fans. While the report about the former Formula One champion's full recovery was what most fans have been waiting for, the publication reportedly crossed the line for spreading false news and using Michael Schumacher to mislead readers and generate site traffic.

Due to widespread criticisms, the controversial hoax was immediately taken down. Many publications also stressed that the most reliable source to give factual news and updates as well as press releases about Michael Schumacher, his health and recovery is his long-time manager Sabine Kehm or his family, Blasting News notes.

Michael Schumacher's Current Condition

Speaking of Michael Schumacher news and updates, an unnamed yet credible source recently revealed that Schumacher's condition has gone worse. According to News Everyday, an unnamed neurosurgeon claimed that Schumacher needed a "miracle" to fully recover.

What was strange about this latest Michael Schumacher report, however, was the fact that it was initially reported by Sportsrageous, the same publication who made the April Fool's hoax. Thus, it's safe to say that fans should treat this information as a mere speculation.

Hope For Michael Schumacher's Recovery

Despite the nasty claims and rumors surrounding Michael Schumacher's health condition, the Schumacher clan remains hopeful. In fact, Schumacher's slow progress has already been reported last year, where his manager Sabine Kehm reminded fans that while Michael was "making progress," they should always consider the "seriousness" of his injury, TVNZ reports.

Just a couple of months ago, Kehm also gave a rare update on Michael Schumacher's condition in spite of the uncertainties on his recovery. At the opening of an exhibition in Marburg, Germany, Kehm said that she's hoping Schumacher will someday make a comeback in the racing realm.

"We must accept it and hope with everything we have that with continued support and patience he will one day be back with us," Kehm told the crowd, The Telegraph quotes. "Racing was his life and no one would have liked to have been here more than him."

Meanwhile, Michael Schumacher reportedly continues to undergo an extensive rehabilitation program at a highly-secured and state-of-the-art custom built suite in his Geneva, Switzerland estate. Schumacher is under the care of 15 medical experts 24/7.
