1. Hand-Printed Apron

This is best for mommies who love cooking, baking or being in the kitchen. Prepare a plain apron, it can be white or in the pastel shade of mommy's favorite color. Lighter shade for the cloth is recommended so that the paint colors would appear better.

A finger, a sponge or a paintbrush can be used to paint the little hands (or feet) of the child. There is no limit in being creative with the designs that will be made when dabbing the kids' hands onto the apron.

It does not also necessarily be restricted to an apron, KinderArt used a dishcloth. So guardians can use any other cloth; it can be for the kitchen or the bathroom, it can even be a shirt for mommy.

2. Thumb-Marked Photo Frame.

The next craft would give mommies a chance to display the finished artwork either at home or in her office desk. Cardboard and Popsicle sticks can create a sturdy frame, First Palette shows a detailed instruction to make one.

Put together some things to decorate the frame with like buttons, sequins or tiny details that can be added to the main art. The main art would still involve painting, but this time with tiny fingers.

Use a sponge or paintbrush, or to make it more fun for the little ones, dip their tiny thumbs into the paint. Carefully dab their fingers onto the sides of the frame. This will serve as the background, then the tiny details can be glued on top.

For kids who can already write, encourage them to use colored pens instead of their thumb-marks. Let them write their names, signature or even some inspiring words for mommy.

3. Pots Of Love.

Ideally, this artwork is best for the gardening mommies, but creativity has no boundaries. The finished product can be used as an office desk paperweight, it can be a recipe holder in the kitchen, or can hold a clipper on top for important letters or billing statements.

Prepare a clay pot, consider the target usage for picking the size of the pot. If the pot is aimed for mommy's workstation, then choose a smaller one. A set of colorful paint and a bundle of imagination will be the main materials for this project, design the pot without limits.

Clay or floral foam can be used to fill in the center of the pot, enough that would hold anything that the child might want to stick into. Nothing can hinder to whatever the kids want to put into the pot; it can be as simple as a fork that can hold paper or it can be colorful pipe cleaners with fake flowers on top.
