'The Originals' Season 3 Spoilers, News & Update: Marcel Is The Next Villain In The Upcoming Episode; Fans Divided About Freya's Sacrifice Leading To Davina's Death

"The Originals" season 3 is filled with huge surprises including deaths and torn relationships. According to new reports, Marcel will be Klaus' next enemy in the next "The Originals" episode.

Marcel Will Be Up Against "The Originals" Family

"The Originals" fans are still mourning for Cami's death when another cast faced her demise. Davina was killed in the last "The Originals" episode. According to Design &Trend, Kol and Marcel did everything they could to save Davina but instead of helping them the Mikaelsons used the witch to defeat Lucien.

Marcel felt so betrayed and hurt with Davina's fate. "I should have known better than to trust your family. You, people, destroy everything you touch," he told Kol.

Per the report, Marcel is determined to avenge Davina's death. He will take the serum to defeat the Mikaelson in "The Originals'

'The Original Fans' Torn About Freya's Sacrifice That Leads To Davina's Death

Although Davina's death is not as dramatic as Cami's it still affected the "The Originals" fans. When TVFanatic asked the "The Originals" fanatics about their stand on Freya's move that lead to Davina's death, they were divided.

Amanda told the publication that she is not all in with Freya's decision thinking that Freya and Elijah messed up big time. " Freya and Elijah clearly crossed the line. They betrayed Marcel and Kol in a way that I don't think their relationships will ever be repaired," she said.

Another "The Originals" fanatic believes that Freya did what is right. Kelly said that Freya just found her family so she wants them alive and safe. Since Freya has no attachment with Davina, the latter's death has no impact on her. "Without Davina's sacrifice, they would have never killed Lucien. Basically, I don't know if it was right but I do understand Freya's decision," she said.

Davina Is Still Alive

Parent Herald previously reported that Davina is not leaving "The Originals" yet. Davina is a witch and her type has a different concept when it comes to mortality. "You can imagine that Davina's story is not yet over," Michael Narducci, "The Originals" showrunner told Entertainment Weekly.
