"Girl Meets World" Season 3 spoilers reveal that the upcoming season will see Riley (Rowan Blanchard), Maya (Sabrina Carpenter), Lucas (Peyton Meyer) and their friends transition into the world of high school. In a recent tweet from the Disney series' writers, it was revealed that the first four episodes will focus on Riley and her friends' adjustment period.

While this can be pretty much expected, what surprised most fans was the writers' statement that the next four episodes will "resolve the not triangle." This love triangle between Riley, Maya and Lucas is expected to be resolved in "Girl Meets World" Season 3.

"The not triangle" statement from writers led to different speculations from fans. This could mean a rectangle (Lucas, Maya, Riley, Farkle/Josh) or it could mean that Riley or Maya can just simply give way for each other in "GMW" Season 3, reports Enstars.

As seen in the latest promo for "Girl Meets World" Season 3, Riley asks Maya to promise that they will never be apart. This can be taken as a hint that these two are bound to encounter some problems in their friendship in the near future.
