Almost 80 Peruvian schoolchildren are thought to have been possessed by the devil after they suffered from seizures alongside with visions of a "man in black" chasing and trying to strangle them. Experts have struggled to explain the strange phenomenon, which was described by locals as a mass case of demonic possession.

The Peruvian Schoolchildren Were Possessed By The Devil

The Mirror reports that almost 80 children at the Elsa Perea Flores School in Tarapoto City of San Martin Province, Peru have been convulsing, screaming, fainting and hallucinating. The Peruvian schoolchildren, aged between 11 and 14, are believed to have been possessed by the devil after they claimed that they have visions of a "man in black" trying to kill them.

Locals said that the strange phenomenon that victimized scores of Peruvian schoolchildren is a mass case of demonic possession. They believed that the contagious condition, which started late last month, rooted from the school that was built on a Mafia graveyard.

One victim, whose name was withheld, told the local media that the whole condition is very disturbing as she felt like a tall man "all dressed in black and with a big beard" is chasing and trying to strangle her. Her horrifying visions were echoed by other Peruvian schoolchildren who shared that a "man in black" is chasing and strangling them.

Experts Struggle To Give Rational Or Official Explanation

As the victims of the mass case of demonic possession continue to rise, experts have struggled to give an official or rational explanation if the Peruvian schoolchildren are indeed possessed by the devil. The Daily Mail reports that Antony Choy, a Peruvian doctor, told Panamericana TV that they do not understand how the strange condition has kept going on.

Moreover, Franklin Steiner, a parapsychologist, agreed with the locals' belief that the Peruvian schoolchildren were possessed by the devil. "It is known that years ago there were many victims of terrorism here. When this school was built, some say bones and dead bodies were found," he explained.
