Caroline And Stefans's Relationship On The Rocks In 'The Vampire Diaries' Season 8

In a recent interview, "The Vampire Diaries" star Candice King holds no bar about Caroline and Stefan's fate in the upcoming season. She teases that the couple will be going through rough roads in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8.

"I think Stefan and Caroline will have a great shot at having a good, healthy relationship, but then that's not very interesting television to watch," Candice King told IGN. "So, I'm sure there's gonna be a lot of curveballs thrown their way, and I hope that they make it through.."

Meanwhile, Parent Herald reported that Nina Dobrev is back for "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8. Fans know the popular love triangle between Damon, Elena/Katherine and Stefan. Movie News Guide speculated that Caroline and Stefan might part ways with Elena's return because this will surely affect Stefan. He will struggle with his feelings for Elena or Katherine.

Main Characters Will Work Together To Save Damon And Enzo

The finale of "The Vampire Diaries" Season 7 features Damon and Enzo inside the Armory fault where they went on killing vampires. King teases that Stefan, Bonnie and Caroline will do their best to stop this.

"You know those vampire murder sprees... I think Bonnie and Stefan and Caroline are gonna have their work cut out for them. I'm interested to see how Alaric plays into bringing Damon and Enzo back from the dark side. And how quick or so they will be in finding them and waking them up," she said.

'The Vampire Diaries' Season 8 Will Have A New Villain

Meanwhile, "The Vampire Diaries" showrunner Julie Plec teases that there will be a new villain in the new season. At the time, they are withholding the identity and mythology of the character. However, she hints that the new villain could be a real threat.

"We didn't see it, but it has some creepy ass monster hands, and it has the ability to get inside your heard and strip away everything good about you," she said per Melty.

Meanwhile, Plec also added that Bonnie would struggle the most in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 because Enzo and Damon are special to her and she lost them both at the same time. Do you agree?
