'Supergirl/Arrow' Crossover In The Works? Mehcad Brooks Wants Oliver Queen/Kara Danvers Team Up To Happen

There is little doubt that the "Supergirl/The Flash" crossover was one of the best episodes for Melissa Benoist's CBS show. But now that "Supergirl" has made the big move to The CW, is a "Supergirl/Arrow" crossover in the works? "Supergirl" star Mehcad Brooks believes it is time for Stephen Amell's Oliver Queen to finally team up with Melissa Benoist's Kara Danvers!

Mehcad Brooks Wants "Supergirl/Arrow" Crossover Right Now!

The cast of "Supergirl" recently spoke to Tiffany Smith of DC All Access, where Mehcad Brooks admitted that he is hoping that the show will finally have a guest appearance from Stephen Amell's Oliver Queen (via ComicBook). "'Arrow' would be amazing," Brooks gushed before teasing that he is also looking forward to a crossover with the CW show "Jane The Virgin."

A "Supergirl/Arrow" crossover would certainly be an interesting and potentially successful pairing for The CW, especially after the positive response to the "Supergirl/The Flash" crossover. But is it also possible that Grant Gustin's Barry Allen will make more appearances in "Supergirl" as a love interest for Melissa Benoist's Kara Danvers?

Will Barry Allen And Kara Danvers Start Dating In "Supergirl?"

Melissa Benoist also spoke to DC All Access, where she opened up about rumors that Supergirl and The Flash will be getting an onscreen romance. "I don't know if they'd ever get together," Benoist said. "I think they're too similar."

In addition to that, Melissa Benoist pointed out that Barry Allen and Kara Danvers would have a better relationship just being friends who love food. "I think they're pals, pigging out on ice cream ... and donuts," Benoist declared. "All the donuts."

Although a romance between Barry Allen and Kara Danvers may not be in the horizon, fans can rest assured that a "Supergirl/Arrow" crossover could happen in the second season. "Supergirl" Season 2 will air on The CW in the fall.
