Christina Grimmie Death Update: Singer's Killer Wanted to Marry Her

Christina Grimmie faced a tragic fate as she was killed by a deranged fan during an autograph signing after her concert in Orlando. As of the latest update, it was revealed that Christina Grimmie's murderer wanted to marry her.

It was recently reported that Kevin James Loibl was madly obsessed with Christina Grimmie up to a point where he fantasized marrying her. TMZ reported Loibl would listen to Christina Grimmie's music and even made a promise that he would eventually walk her down the aisle.

He became so obsessed that he turned vegan just to lose weight in preparation for their so called "wedding day." He then got hair transplants and Lasik eye surgery to look perfect for their big day. According to his officemates, Lolbi went to Christina Grimmie's concert last March. He even mentioned that they played online games together.

It was then added that Lolbi got furious when his officemates told him that she already has a boyfriend. His fanboy obsession eventually grew dark as he turned into a deranged fan. Holding his anger until Christina Grimmie's concert on June 10, he walked towards his music idol and shot her.

Another Christina Grimmie fan told Mail Online that the singer greeted Lolbi with her hands wide open before she was shot. Destiny Rivera narrated her experience during the shootout.

'The one guy in front of us was walking up to meet her," Rivera told Mail Online. "Her arms were open, waiting to greet him with a hug.'Then there was a sound of three pops, like balloons. People had brought balloons to the show and the security guards were popping them so at first I thought it was that. "

After the shots were fired, Rivera stated that she saw the barricade fall and two people were running away. She then added that she saw Christina Grimmie's leg on the floor. As Grimmie fell, her brother Mark, tackled the shooter who eventually committed suicide.
