'The Originals' Season 4 Spoilers, News & Update: Marcel, Vincent To Team Up? Mystery Person To Rescue Joseph Morgan's Klaus Mikaelson?

"The Originals" Season 4 premiere will reopen the doors to reveal the how the restored lord of New Orleans, Marcel Gerard (Charles Michael Davis) and unofficial supernatural marshall Vincent Griffith (Yusuf Gatewood) will team up. In the meantime "The Originals" Season 4 will not have Klaus Mikaelson (Joseph Morgan) by siblings Elijah (Daniel Gillies), Kol (Nathaniel Buzolic), Freya (Riley Voelkel) or even daughter Hope but by a mystery person.

With redemption as the theme of "The Originals" Season 3 for Klaus Mikaelson, his heartbreaking self-sacrifice at the finale had been convincing. However, "The Originals" fans should hold off fantasizing a ride into the sunset as two things can happen to Klaus Mikaelson in Season 4.

TV Guide cites executive producer Michael Narducci in stating that Elijah, Kol, Freya, Hope and Hayley Marshall (Phoebe Tonkin), will not necessarily rescue Klaus Mikaelson from his Tunde Blade suffering in "The Originals" Season 4. According to Michael Narducci Klaus Mikaelson may even be the one that rescues his clan when "The Originals" returns.

Michael Narducci hints at a mystery rescuer for Klaus Mikaelson at the "The Originals" Season 4. Entertainment Weekly reports that Michael Narducci, however, points out that Klaus Mikaelson may emerge a loose cannon after his painful exile.

The hero Klaus Mikaelson became at "The Originals" Season 3 may be an unstable hero who may again disappoint Elijah, Kol and Freya and indirectly hurt Hope and Hayley Marshall. Which is just as well that Marcel Gerard and Vincent Griffith could be joining forces in "The Originals" Season 4.

Michael Narducci told TV Guide that both Marcel Gerard and Vincent Griffith will be bent on protecting those over which they have responsibility in "The Originals" Season 4. Just as easily as Marcel Gerard and Vincent Griffith could become combatants in "The Originals" Season 4, they could also unite for the common good.

"The Originals" Season 4 is promised for a premiere slate on The CW between January and April 2017. By then, Klaus Mikaelson, Hope, Hayley, Marcel Gerard and Vincent Griffith should be ready to reveal what they're going to be up to in "The Originals" Season 4.
