'Game Of Thrones' Writer George R.R. Martin, Interviews Stephen King On How He Gets To Write So Fast

George R.R. Martin recently interviewed Stephen king about his writing. Both men are amazing novel writers, but it seems that one of them writes faster than the other.

The interview happened in the Albuquerque, New Mexico. King was on a book tour during that time. He is promoting his final installment of his trilogy novel, Bill Hodges.

Wiki of Thrones recalled that King's trilogy began in 2014. Mr. Mercedes was published, yet in less than 3 years Stephen King was able to publish three books. As for George R.R. Martin, we all know how it went. His series "Song of Ice and Fire" took quite a very long time to get done. "A Dance with Dragons" was the last book, it began back in 2011 and until now fans are not sure if the book will be published or not within this year.

From Reddit, user jmsurm the interview was shared with his internet audience. Here is what he posted on reddit:

"Great night, most of the night was about Mr King, but he did answer a few questions from Stephen about how he started writing and such."

Moment of the night:

Stephen King told George there was time for 1 more question. George asked him how is it that he is able to write so fast.  "I have a good six months and crank out 3 chapters, meanwhile you wrote 3 books in that time!"

Stephen answered that he writes almost every day and demands 6 pages a day from himself. George was amazed by that.

He replied "You always get six pages? You never get constipated? You never get up and go get the mail, and think 'Maybe I don't have any talent and should have been a plumber?'"
It was pretty funny."
