'Persona 5' News & Update: Title To Introduce New Main And Supporting Characters; Premium Edition Is Back On Amazon

Goro Akechi Joins 'Persona 5'

According to Christian Daily, Altus introduced the newest party member in "Persona 5" in the recently concluded Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3.) The new addition to the title is named Goro Akechi.

"Persona 5's" Akechi is similar to Naoto. He is a young high school student with detective-like attitude. He is very vigilant and interested in learning about the Phantom Thieves. However, his Persona remains unreleased and fans believe that he has a dark element.

Goro Akechi is set to join the other eight personalities in "Persona 5" including Futaba, Sakura, Morgana, Haru Okumura, Makoto Nijima, Anne Takamaki, Ryuji Sakamoto, Yusuke Kitagawa and another character who remains a mystery at the time.

More Supporting Characters In 'Persona 5'

Meanwhile, aside from introducing Goro Akechi in "Persona 5" fans can expect more. The report, notes that Atlus will also introduce Munehisa Iwai, Sojio Sakura and Taw Takemi. These characters can help the players' efficiency by expending useful items during the battle.

Breathecast added that the supporting characters also allow the players to have access to stronger Personas. They can use these personas in the combat when playing "Persona 5."

Premium Edition Returns In 'Persona 5'

Meanwhile, per N4BB  the "Persona 5" Standard Edition and Take Your Heart Premium Edition are now available on Amazon and both are selling like hotcakes, which only suggest how wanted the game is. The latter comes with a plush of Morgana, a school bag, a steel bookcase, hardcover art book and the title's soundtrack.

"Persona 5" will be released on Sept. 15 in Japan. The anticipated title is also expected to arrive in the United States on the valentine's day of 2017.
