"Hawaii Five-0" Season 7 spoilers hint that Catherine (Michelle Borth) and McGarrett's (Alex O'Loughlin) reunion will finally happen after a couple of seasons. Showrunner Peter Lenkov told TVGuide.com that this much-awaited reunion will be one of the show's focus this season.

"She's still a part of our show," he said. "The idea is to push that story line until next year."

This statement led to speculations that Catherine will return in "Hawaii Five-0" Season 7 after what McGarrett went through in the Season 6 finale. It is expected that McGarrett will be reflecting on his own life after going through a near-death experience.

Several fans, however, were not so thrilled with the idea that Catherine is returning in "Hawaii Five-0" Season 7. Fans expressed that McGarrett should have moved on from Catherine and he should be given a new love interest in the upcoming season.

While Catherine and McGarrett's reunion is one to look forward to in "Hawaii Five-0" Season 7, it appears Adam (Ian Anthony Dale) and Kono (Grace Park) will face some issues in their relationship. According to Entertainment Weekly, Lenkov stated that Adam and Kono will have their relationship tested after Adam decided to keep Gabriel's secrets from her.

Lenkov, however, reassured fans that Adam and Kono will survive this problem. In "Hawaii Five-0" Season 7, fans will see Adam and Kono get to know each other again after being apart for quite a while.

"Hawaii Five-0" Season 7 premieres on Sept. 23 on CBS.
