Ellen DeGeneres, Portia De Rossi Divorce: Couldn't Agree To Have Kids? Admits Kate Middleton Is Her Cousin But Duchess of Cambridge Denies

Ellen DeGeneres and wife, Portia De Rossi are plagued with divorce rumors. The couple was spotted together at the world premiere of Disney-Pixar's "Finding Dory." However, the divorce rumors continue and per the report, their marital issues are due to their misunderstanding in having a baby.

There are rumors that the popular talk show host and her actress-wife are in a feud. The couple couldn't get themselves to agree on starting a family. Portia De Rossi wants kids but Ellen DeGeneres are not supportive of this.

"Portia has always dreamed of becoming a mother and desperately wants to try to carry the child herself," one source told In Touch Weekly. "But Ellen is absolutely opposed to it. Portia first brought up the topic in an attempt to save their crumbling eight-year marriage. But all it's done is tear the couple further apart."

According to the source, Portia is hopeful that a baby will bring them back together but things are not really well between them. Portia and Ellen barely talk and when they do, it always ended in a blowout fight.

However, Ellen DeGeneres said that they don't have issues about not having kids. They felt that it is great to have a conversation without interruptions. "I think in this profession it can be really tough for children. It's hard for them to have to share their parents with the world," DeGeneres further explained, per the Advertiser.

Ellen DeGeneres And Kate Middleton Are Cousins

On a side note, Ellen DeGeneres announced that she is Kate Middleton's distant cousin. Unfortunately, the Duchess of Cambridge is not convinced and denied it.

"She refuses to admit it and I don't know why. But I am going to be at Wimbledon and if my cousin Kate is there I'm going to bring the DNA chart with me," Ellen DeGeneres said per Mirror.

The two popular women are 14th cousins. An ancestral tracing company learned about this through Sir Thomas Fairfax and his wife Agnes Gascoigne, who lived in England in the early 1500s.
