Melissa McCarthy News: 'Life of Party' Out In 2018; 'Ghostbusters' Star Struggles With Her Celebrity Status?

There is no doubt that Melissa McCarthy is one of the most talented actresses in the showbiz industry. In fact, she is a natural comedienne and has earned several nominations and awards in the past, but did you know that the "Gilmore Girls" alum struggles with her celebrity status?

Melissa McCarthy Struggles With Her Celebrity Status

Melissa McCarthy made a name for her role in the 2011 American romantic comedy film, "Bridesmaid." Since then, the "Mike and Molly" star received critical praises for her works in comedies. She was also recognized in her works in "Identity Thief," "The Heat" and "Spy."

However, despite her fame, Melissa McCarthy admitted that she still feels uncomfortable during red carpet appearances, even if her husband, director Ben Falcone is with her. "Posing in front of cameras at an awards show - kill me now! I've never really known what to do with my hands. And whether I put them on my hips, by my side, above my head... It still feels really weird and embarrassing," she said per Stuff.

The "The Boss" star also disclosed that she finds it dreamlike to know that the people want to see and talk to her. "I still find it surreal doing interviews and understanding why anyone would want to talk to me. So, to try and get my head around the idea that anyone wants to see me act, that in itself is ludicrous."
