Xbox One S Release Date, Latest News: Already Has Built-In Power Supply?

Microsoft's Xbox division has already revealed the release date for its latest gaming console, the Xbox One S. It also comes with upgradable features.

It should be remembered that the Xbox One S was announced as its newest console at the E3 last June, and would be available at a starting price close to three hundred dollars. Should be acceptable for Xbox fans as Microsoft takes pride in it being the IT giant's most compact gaming console to offer, says Mashable.

The smaller and more stylish Xbox One S would be finally hitting stores on August 2, and would come with a 500 gigabyte hard drive. The upcoming Xbox One S would also be handy to users, as it's going to be smaller than its predecessor, the Xbox One.

Xbox One S Specs To Watch For

Other than the new Xbox One S's powerful hard drive, it also would provide support for HDR videos as well as have a 4K UHD resolution. Xbox division head Phil Spencer also assures the Xbox One S can accommodate a non-4K game.

Furthermore, the new Xbox One S would have a built-in power supply and be able to stand at eye level. Additional accessories for the Xbox One S would render it available with 1TB of HD storage ($349) and also for 2TB ($399). The latter is expected to launch at the end of August.

Anyone interested is recommended to pre-order the Xbox One S consoles soon, citing limited availability and a high demand, according to CNET. With the Xbox One S' capability to support 4K resolution, blacker blacks and vibrant color displays are expected.

The Xbox One S console would also be sold in many countries, such Australia, Canada, France and many others, following its U.S. debut. Can't wait to get a feel for the Xbox One S soon.
