'Pitch Perfect 3' Cast, Plot & Release Date: Bye-Bye! Notable Character Not Returning

"Pitch Perfect 3" cast, plot and release date rumors are now claiming that a notable character might not be reprising his role in the third installment. If reports are accurate, it looks like Adam Devine is done with his aca-journey.

The star recently told LA Times that he has not been contacted to return to the set. He despite not being called back to be part of "Pitch Perfect 3," the star confirmed that lead stars Rebel Wilson, Anna Kendrick and Brittany Snow will be reprising their roles.

"I don't even know if I'm going to be in it," he said. "They didn't have me sign on. I love doing those movies. It's so much fun. Schedule permitting, I would love to do it."

The actor also gave his thoughts on why "Pitch Perfect 3" is suffering some major delays. In the interview, the actor speculated that the roadblocks are most probably caused by the movie's storyline.

"I don't know. I honestly don't," he shared. "I think it was like, script stuff. They haven't fully locked in the story."

Previous "Pitch Perfect 3" cast, plot and release date rumors are rife that there is trouble brewing on the set of the new aca-mazing installment of the hit movie. If sources are correct, it looks like the movie's lead, Anna Kendrick, is having second thoughts about pushing through with the upcoming "Pitch Perfect 3."
