'Quantico' Season 2 Spoilers, Updates and Plot Lines: Will Claire Come Back? Is the Cast For Season 2 Announced?

Josh Safran, the executive producer revealed that "Quantico" Season 2 will have direct link to the finale of the previous season. A major plot will revolve on Claire's (Marcia Cross) escape and her possible comeback.

"I would say the tie between season 1 and season 2 is primarily with Claire...it's more about the idea that she's out there and that she got away," Safran told. "Will she do something bad again or will she make up for all the bad that she's done?"

The Cast: 'Quantico' Season 2

"Quantico" Season 2 will see some major changes in the casting. The show has already added the South African actress Pearl Thusi. She will be portraying the role of lawyer Dayana Mampasi. Blair Underwood will be playing the role of the CIA officer Owen Hall.

It is reported that "Quantico" will see more action and more adrenaline as new members are cast. There are reports that Tracy Ifeachor, David Lim and Aaron Diaz will be joining in "Quantico" Season 2.

Ifeachor is all set to play the role of actuary Lydia Bates. This is a role that is highly looked out for as there are reports that Lydia is coming in with a few twists and turns. Tracy is famous for her role as Aya Al-Rashid in CW's "The Originals." She appeared only for nine episodes.

David Lim is known for roles in CW's "Supergirl" and "90210." He will play Sebastian Chen, a future agent in "Quantico" Season 2. The character is going to be a strong one who is very focused and super confident. Further details into the character are not yet revealed.

"Quantico" season 2 will also see Aaron Diaz when he plays León Velez who is a photojournalist. Diaz was earlier seen in "Tierra de Reyes" and ABC's "Pan Am." He role in "Quantico" is supposed to be a serious one.

More questions will be answered when "Quantico" Season 2 will premiere on ABC this September 25 at 9 p.m.
