Ian Somerhalder, Nikki Reed Divorce: Couple Tries To Save Marriage By Joining ‘The Vampire Diaries’ Filming Set?

Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed divorce rumors began making rounds online after it was reported that Nina Dobrev will be returning to "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8. Several reports claimed that Somerhalder's wife felt threatened over the former couple's chemistry onscreen and behind-the-scenes that she even joined the cast reunion of The CW series.

Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder will be reuniting in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 because the upcoming season of The CW drama is believed to be its last. With "Delena" fans expressing optimism that the former couple would be back onscreen, a recent report from Celeb Dirty Laundry suggests that the reunion may no longer happen.

Series creator Julie Plec recently shared a photo of the cast reunion, which showed Somerhalder's wife, Nikki Reed, next to the cast, Dobrev was also nowhere to be found in the said photo, which led to speculations that Reed is already preventing Somerhalder's reunion with Dobrev at all costs.

Reed has reportedly flown to Atlanta with Somerhalder in order to join the actor throughout his time filming for "TVD" Season 8. The awkward encounter with Reed is believed to stop Dobrev from returning to The CW show.

However, The Bitbag noted that there is no reason for Nikki Reed to feel threatened of Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev's reunion at all. According to the publication, Reed feels secure in her relationship with her husband.

The 37-year-old actor has been sharing photos of his wife on his Instagram page and some are captioned with very sweet messages. The publication also notes that Reed and Somerhalder never issued a statement regarding the divorce rumors about them, but they always found a way to slam these rumors with sweet photos and messages on social media.
