'The Winds Of Winter' Release Date, News & Update: George R.R. Martin To Change 'TWOW,' 'Game Of Thrones' Series Endgame? 'GoT' S7 Delay Really For 6th ASOIF 2017 Book Launch?

George R.R. Martin may shock "A Song Of Ice And Fire" (ASOIF) saga fans with the sixth book, "The Winds Of Winter." Although both George R.R. Martin and "Game Of Thrones" series executive producers David Benioff and Dan Weiss repeatedly warned that "GoT" and "The Winds Of Winter" are now very different, "ASOIF" fans are in for a rough shock.

Digital Spy cites the UFC Unfiltered podcast interview with HBO's "Game Of Thrones" series executive producers David Benioff and Dan Weiss in this revelation on George R.R. Martin. Although George R.R. Martin shared with David Benioff and Dan Weiss the final direction between "The Winds Of Winter" and " A Dream OF Spring," what the "Game Of Thrones" EPs may know of the "ASOIF" saga ending may be different from what will actually happen.

The "Game Of Thrones" showrunners tease that at even George R.R. Martin may not how the remaining "ASOIF" books - "The Winds Of Winter," "A Dream Of Spring" - will turn out. "We know some of his distant plans... but he doesn't necessarily know everything that's going to happen until he writes it!" the "Game Of Thrones" EPs revealed.

As Parent Herald reports, George R.R. Martin alludes his writing style to a gardener rather than an architect. So saying, George R.R. Martin may have a general layout of his garden (ASOIF), but does not exactly know what will grow as the final "The Winds Of Winter," "A Dream Of Spring."

Luckily, even gardeners work with the seasons and George R.R. Martin does have a methodical delivery of his "A Song Of Ice And Fire" books. A detailed analysis on Regressing mapped out how George R.R. Martin fans may assess when "The Winds Of Winter" and "A Dream Of Spring" will finally complete "ASOIF."

Based on the analysis, George R.R. Martin will indeed potentially deliver "The Winds Of Winter" before the first half of 2017 is over, and well before "Game Of Thrones" Season 7 airs. One might wonder then if the HBO on "Game Of Thrones" Season 7 has to do with George R.R. Martin launching "The Winds Of Winter."

Which of "A Song Of Ice And Fire" book by George R.R. Martin is your favorite so far, or are you banking on "The Winds Of Winter" and "A Dream Of Spring?" If George R.R. Martin does change the endgame of "ASOIF," beginning with "The Winds Of Winter" and affecting the "Game Of Thrones" series, what changes would you like to see?
