The Flash Season 3 Trailer: Barry ‘Meets’ Iris Again? Cisco a Billionaire?

The Flash Season 3 Trailer has been released and the next season is looking like it will be even more explosive than the previous ones. Just as promised by the producers, a big chunk of the third season's storylines will be based on the seminal comic crossover series Flashpoint.

In the new The Flash Season 3 trailer, Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) wakes up to a different world, TV Line reported. That world is different in the sense that his mother Nora Allen (who died when he was young after being murdered by Reverse Flash in the first season) and Henry Allen (who was killed by Zoom in the second season) are still alive in the arc. Barry is also aware of the differences that are in the universe he came from and the alternate universe he is currently in. We also got the look at Wally West (Keiynan Lonsdale) as the Kid Flash.

Flashpoint is famous among comic book lovers and circles as the DC Comics story arc released in 2011 where Batman is running Wayne Casinos and Superman is detained in a heavily-guarded government facility and Cyborg is the world's biggest superhero. In the arc, both Wonder Woman, along with her Amazonian sisters, and Aquaman and the Atlanteans have left much of Europe into a continental waste because of their respective wars.

The newly released The Flash Season 3 Trailer is the first promotional material released by The CW for the new season. Earlier this month, Tom Felton, notable for playing wizard bully Draco Malfoy in the "Harry Potter" series, was cast for a regular role in The Flash, Variety reported. He will play Julian Dorn, a crime scene investigator who will work with Barry who realizes there is something peculiar about him the more he knows him.
