'Frozen 2' Release Date Delayed? Kristen Bell Speaks Up!

"Frozen 2" plot, cast and release date rumors continue to spread online. Despite not having a confirmed premiere as of writing, fans eagerly await the highly anticipated icy sequel.

According to rumors, there might be a delay for the "Frozen 2" release date since the cast has not started recording yet. In an interview with Jimmy Kimmel, actress Kristen Bell dished on her return as Anna in the movie.

"They take a lot of time over there to just perfect it," she said. "It has to go through a lot of development to make sure it's exactly the story that needs to be told. We haven't started recording. We're just waiting to get out hands on the script."

Bell previously explained that the people behind "Frozen 2" are working hard to make sure the sequel will be as good, if not better than the first. "What I know about that whole team is that they wouldn't just put something out to put it out," she told Collider last March. "That's why it took them so long to even announce that we were doing a second one."

"Generally when you have a first successful movie you want to make a second one. It took them a while because they wanted to figure out what story they needed to tell and what would be important and engaging and I think they found it."

While directors Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee continue to keep mum about the specifics of the highly-anticipated flick, speculations are rife online. One particular rumor that has caught every fan's attention is Anna and Elsa's reported duet. Many are claiming that this will be at par, or even surpass, the worldwide success of "Frozen's" "Let It Go."

"I think they'll definitely try to position one song as a Let It Go-trumping central number," Tim Robey of Telegraph said. "At a guess, though, it might be a duet between the sisters. They only shared about four scenes in the first film, so I feel more detailed development of that relationship has got to be the way to go."
