Nina Dobrev And Ian Somerhalder Back In 'The Vampire Diaries' Season 8; Nikki Reed To Divorce Husband After 'TVD?'

Reports are saying that Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed are having marital issues again as "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 is ending. And it is all because of Nina Dobrev.

"The Vampire Diaries" having its final season was expecting the return of Nina Dobrev and finally put a closure to her relationship with Ian Somerhalder. However,Nina Dobrev avoided her return to the final season as she may still be in love with Ian Somerhalder.

Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed got married last April 2015 and fans are wondering whether Nina's avoiding "TVD" is because of the two. Nina Dobrev promised she would be back for the last season but now she may not be because she is still in love with "The Vampire Diaries" actor.

Executive producer of "The Vampire Diaries" Julie Plec was asked about the return of Nina to the show and she mostly hold onto the promise Nina Dobrev gave them when she left. "Not to put too much pressure or anything on Nina Dobrev, but a promise was made," Plec said. "An emotional promise that I'd like to see come to life."

However, Celebrity Laundry reported that that Nina Dobrev is glad that she did not end up with Ian Somerhalder and that Nikki Reed is a good match for him. Reports are also saying that she made a good choice since after her work with "The Vampire Diaries," her career took off.

Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed on the other hand, are very happy and very much in love as Just Jared confirmed the latest images of the duo during the 2016 San Diego Comic-con for "TVD." And while most would understand why Nina Dobrev might not confirm yet if she is returning to "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8, fans would be glad to know that the show will end up on a very high note with the rest of the cast to support each other.
