'Pokemon Go' Is Already Available In Brazil! Japanese Gymnast For Rio Olympics Accidentally Spends $5,000 For The Game

There is no doubt that "Pokémon Go" is the hottest game today. In fact, most, if not all want to join the "Pokémon Go" wagon but unfortunately, the title is still not available to some countries.

According to reports, the athletes at Rio Olympics wish that the game is available in the country. They are disappointed that they can't enjoy the trending game while they prepare for the Olympics.

"I wish I could run around in the [athletes'] village catching Pokémon," New Zealand soccer player Anna Green told the Guardian. "I just can't get it on the phone. It's fine, but it would have been something fun to do."

For those waiting for "Pokémon Go" in Brazil, chances are high that the title will arrive soon because Niantic announced that they are working hard on it. "Working hard to roll out Pokémon GO to Brazil," Pokémon GO account tweeted per International Business Times. "Stay tuned..."

Well, the wait is not long because yesterday, the same account announced that "Pokémon Go" is already available on Android and iOS in Brazil. This is great news for athletes who wish to enjoy the fun and exciting game while they prepare for the Rio Olympics.

Meanwhile, an Olympic gymnast prepping for his next big challenge in the Rio Olympics has already enjoyed "Pokémon Go" in Brazil. In fact, he accidentally spends $5,000 for the game.

Per Time, Kohei Uchimura, a Japanese gymnast loves "Pokémon Go" so much that he downloaded the app when he arrives in Brazil."Pokémon Go" cost him $5,0000 for his roaming data bill after enjoying the game since his arrival in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Uchimura disclosed that he downloaded "Pokémon Go" for the pre-Olympic training camp. However, he became so addicted to it that he plays it over time while under the impression that he had a flat rate for his overseas data usage.

When Uchimura found out that playing "Pokémon Go" cost him too much, his enthusiasm for the title dropped. "He looked dead at the team meal that day," said Kenzo Shirai, one of his teammates.

Luckily, Uchimura's phone company has spared him from the accidental spending for "Pokémon Go." The gymnast will now be paying a daily flat rate of about 3,000 yen or $30. So, he can return to his "Pokémon Go" addiction.

Have you downloaded "Pokémon Go" in Brazil already? If not, then download now and enjoy Niantic's fun and entertaining game.
