Cameron Dallas on Jessica Alba: “I Love Jessica Alba and Would Love To Share A Toothbrush With Her Until I Die!”

It seemed like the 21-year-old Cameron Dallas did something to make his popularity dip swiftly because of an offensive comment about Jessica Alba. He has become very popular, making him the star who won the Teen Choice Award for Social Media King. Some fans called him out for being hypocritical based on his words that appeared to be "shaming" the actress Alba.

The comment came from a fun interview/game called "Would you rather" where Dallas was asked about using another person's toothbrush, and the choices were Justin Timberlake and Jessica Alba. His controversial answer was:

"I would honestly choose Justin Timberlake just because I don't know where Jessica's been..."

People thought the Dallas was being judgmental and sexist. Some commented that he should watch his words and be humble especially that he has just won a minor award.

Over 14.5 million subscribers on Instagram, 9.5 million followers on Vine and 8.24 million followers on Twitter - These are such huge social media audience for Dallas and so when his uncareful comment about Alba came out, reactions were just staggering. Millions have sympathized with Alba because they also got offended on the actress' behalf.

The Teen Social Media King, on his defense tweeted after the reaction floodedt:

But Dallas insisted it was a joke and said that the attention should be directed towards Alba's speech on gun violence at the award ceremony. He said:

"Yo it was literally a joke, I love @jessicaalba and would share a toothbrush with her till I die lol... Really thankful for the message @jessicaalba spoke tonight, that's what we should focus on", as reported by Independent Magazine.

Dallas is a star from AwesomenessTV's Expelled, the Outfield, and a Ferris Bueller-esque film for Gen Z viewers. He first became popular in Vine because of a video of him that once has gone remarkably viral.
