Xbox One Backward Compatibility Newest Titles: Three New Games Added In Library

Microsoft has released a fresh batch of new backward compatible games that can be played on the Xbox One. For gamers who still enjoy Xbox 360 and Xbox Live Arcade feature, three new titles  have been confirmed on the list of Xbox One backward compatible game library. Gamers can now relive their old favorites on the current console.

As it is, the library already contains over 150 titles that gamers can revisit and enjoy. However, as part of its service, Microsoft is continually adding to the list. The latest titles are "New Rally-X," "Nin2-Jump" and "Mr. Driller Online," which was unveiled on Twitter by Larry Hyrb, who has worked with the Xbox team for a years.

"New Rally-X" is a driving arcade game, which was initially launched for the Xbox Live Arcade in 2005. It also features a maze, where the goal is to collect flags to gain points and fuel up, as well as avoid and beat the enemy cars.

"Nin2-Jump" was released for the Xbox 360 in 2011. Gamers play as ninjas and they have to save Princess Sakura at Namakura's cave. The arcade game features an Adventure Mode with 50 stages. It also has a Score Attack mode where gamers fight off enemies similar to an arcade fighting game.

"Mr. Driller Online" was a puzzle game released in 2008 for the Xbox Live Arcade and the Xbox 360. It has both single player and online play modes. The objective of the game is to drill on colored blocks so that a player doesn't lose air supply. Players can also go on a quest mode for a more enjoyable gaming experience.

The news comes as Microsoft just announced having new titles to the Xbox One backward compatibility last week, per Daily Star. Gamers, who love a bit of nostalgia or long to play their old favorites, can easily access the new titles digitally by downloading online at the Xbox Marketplace or purchase an actual disc at retail stores like Amazon. However, if they already own a copy from years back, players can simply pop the disc on their Xbox One and start with the game again, without having to pay anything more.
